What am I paying for?

PetLink is not a free registration database.

Registration fees vary depending on the type of microchip purchased by your vet or animal shelter/rescue.  In order to complete your pet’s lifetime registration with PetLink, there may be no charge, a onetime registration fee of $29.95 or a onetime upgrade fee of $29.95.

Microchips that are manufactured by other companies require a onetime registration fee of $29.95.

You can send an email with your pet’s microchip number to petlink@petlink.net and we will be happy to verify your registration status and payment requirement if any.
