How do I choose option A
Anytime after registration you may choose how your personal information will be used as follows:
Option A:
The personal information provided is to be used solely for assistance with recovery of a lost pet.
We use the personal information you provide about yourself only to complete one an order or registration. This includes sending SMS text messages to your mobile phone to confirm registration completion and provide critical service notifications. We do not share this information with outside parties except to complete that order and to deliver the services offered under the by PetLink pet reunification program. This may include offers to update complementary products and or services that aid in the effectiveness of the PetLink recovery program.
As part of the Petlink pet reunification program, we may release your personal information to any licensed animal professional facility (veterinarian, shelter, rescue or municipal animal control agency) or in response to an inquiry by law enforcement. Additionally, we also will disclose your information if required by law, if needed to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or alternate legal process. We also reserve the right to disclose your information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect our rights.
Option B:
In addition to utilizing personal information for assisting in recovery of a lost pet, subscribe to the PetLink mailing list; agree to receive information from PetLink.
By registering with PetLink, you are indicating that you would like to receive promotional SMS and Email updates on our products and services, including those of relevant third party partners.
Note: You will receive operational SMS messages (such as registration confirmations and critical account notifications) regardless of your marketing preferences, as these are necessary to provide you with our service.
You may opt-out of promotional communications by changing your SMS and Email preferences on the edit screen of your owner information page.
