I filed a found pet report but the owner has not contacted me so what are next steps?

If you opted to share your contact info with the owner they should contact you ASAP to have the animal safely returned to them but if you do not hear from the owner in a timely manner please contact us by email at petlink@petlink.net for further assistance; once the found pet report has been submitted the owner on file is notified by email (once a day for 5 days), phone (if there is no answer a voicemail is left unless voicemail is full or has not been set up), and text message (twice a day for 3 days) if applicable.

Please note, we are not at liberty to provide any of the owner's contact info unless the finder is identified as an animal professional.   

If you cannot keep the pet in your home we recommend you contact your local animal control agency or SPCA to discuss.
