My vet, shelter, or rescue registered my pet — how do I access my account? | Someone else created my PetLink account — how do I log in?

Follow these steps to find and access your account.

Step 1 — Check if your pet is already registered

Enter your pet's microchip number in the Microchip Lookup tool at the top of https://www.petlink.net/

If nothing comes back: your pet is not yet registered. You can register at https://www.petlink.net/account/register-pet/

If your pet's details appear: an account already exists. Continue to Step 2.

Step 2 — Find your username

Your username is the email address used when the account was created. Use the Forgot Username tool at https://www.petlink.net/account/forgot-username/ — we will send your username to you via SMS.

Step 3 — Log in

Go to https://www.petlink.net/account/member-login/ and log in with your email address. Your default password is likely your phone number — if it does not work, reset it at https://www.petlink.net/account/forgot-password/
