PetLink does not delete pets from accounts, but here are the two most common reasons people ask — and the right path for each:

My pet has passed away

You can update your pet's status to reflect this. Ask me: "How do I mark my pet as deceased?"

I no longer own this pet

If you have rehomed, surrendered, or sold your pet, the new owner can initiate a transfer of ownership. Ask me: "How do I transfer ownership of a pet to a new owner?"

Something else
