Identifying a cat's breed is a bit different from dogs because about 90–95% of pet cats are not a specific "breed" but are instead referred to by their coat length as Domestic Shorthairs, Domestic Mediumhairs, or Domestic Longhairs. Unless you have registration papers from a breeder, your cat is likely one of these.
