How do I file a found pet report?

If the microchip number is registered in our database, you will need to file a found pet report so the owner can be notified and the reunification process can begin.

Select Lost/Found; Report Found

Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter the pet's microchip number;

Or select Lost & Found then click 'here'

If you are an individual finder you have the option to share your contact information with the owner or withhold it. 

If you are an animal professional your contact information will be shared with the owner.

If you agree to share your contact info with the owner the email notice we send them will include your contact info so they can communicate with you one on one.  

Any comments you enter will only be visible to members of the PetLink Support Team.  

Once the found pet report is filed the owner on record will be notified via email, phone and text (if applicable).
