How many digits should the microchip be?

All PetLink microchips are 15 digits long and begin 981XXXXXXXXXXXX

If you have a microchip from a different company it may be 9 digits, 15 digits or 10 digits (alphanumeric) long


People frequently mistake the number 0 for the letter O in alphanumeric microchip numbers
